For persons who work in IT or all of you, who often process the files, must have been much known with the backup data. But among us sometimes still habitually make missteps in this data backup job. To avert errors backing up data, please to be concerned on the following tips:
Make Frequent Backups!
Each computer on a Windows network has an account in Directory. Just like user accounts, computer accounts also have a password. The difference is that the password is given, and changed periodically by Windows. If you restore from a backup system that has been very long, computer account passwords are no longer the identical as the existing password in Active Directory so that the device will not be proficient to join into the domain. Indeed it can be overcome, but it would be practical if you make backups as frequently as possible.
Do the Comprehensive Perform Test Backups!
To make sure backups run safely then Test it once in a while. Do a thorough, if not, your data is destroyed them all. Make sure that the backups will work, at any time you will need it.
Use Specific Backup Application!
For some applications, file level backup alone is not sufficient. Instance of this is Microsoft Exchange, which requires a backup application that is specific to Exchange. The use of regular backup application can lead to inconsistent data backup (and often can not be restored). It’s imperative to grasp the applications be inherent in on your server.
Do not Move Backup Too Fast!
Every morning at 8:00, the night before the backup tape moved to storage. One day, the server is having problems at 09:30. Unfortunately, you can not directly perform the recovery because the backups have been sent and the afternoon at 16:00, just got back. At that time, the server has been down all day. Although you should keep backups elsewhere, wait until the end of the day before moving the tape the night before.
At least four tips mentioned above are no longer you leave.
Make a new habit with items of work that I have described, there are some advanced tips that you can see in Part II.
